This plugin is FREE and there is no upsell to purchase a ‘Pro’ version which is great.
You simply provide a keyword and an URL. Whenever the keyword appears on your site, it sets links automatically to the given URL.
Here is an example: You have written a blogpost on “How to learn guitar”. Now you want the URL “yourdomain.com/how-to-learn-guitar” to be automatically linked whenever the keyword “learn guitar” appears on your website. You simply navigate to “Add link” within the menu and provide the requested parameters (mainly keyword + URL).
Why is Internal Linking important for SEO?
Google needs to know how your website is constructed. Google looks at Menu items, headings, articles and a lot more. One crucial element is how your content is cross linked within the text. These are internal links. All your internal links should have a ALT tag and TITLE tag and be descriptive to the target of the link (e.g. do not put a link on the words ‘click here’ !)
This plugin helps you automatically create internal links. You add your key phrases to the setup and a link, with relevant tags. When it finds this content it automatically adds the correct link to the correct page in your website.

The review tested version 2.3.0 of the Internal Links Manager WordPress Plugin. The ZIP file is 190Kb in size, was last updated in July 2021, tested up to 5.8.3 and has over 9,000 installs. We have tested this with WordPress 5.9.1 and works fine. It only needs PHP v5.4 or above. It uses jQuery (auto complete js)

A. Delete all your caches? If that doesn’t help, please make sure that the tables “automaticSEOlinks” and “automaticSEOlinksStats” has been dropped from your database.
Q. Can you link to external websites
A. Yes.
Q. Will this plugin overwrite links which I already set manually?
A. No. If you have already created a link manually, the plugin will not overwrite it.
